Burwood Brewing poured their first beer in June 2014 and have been growing their brewery ever since. We joke that our co-founder and masterbrewer, David, has fermentation in his blood. His passion for brewing started at a young age of 19 and beer has always been his focus. His wife, Jennifer, co-founder, sales and marketing has always had a passion for the beer industry. You can always find one of them or both of them in the building as it truly is their home away from home.
We are located in the heart of the Walla Walla wine region. Minutes away from downtown Walla Walla, located in the airport district, with some of the best views around and the best beers in our valley.
Burwood's taproom is a place to unplug, sit back and enjoy a cold delicious beer. Whether you are meeting up with old friends or making new ones our taproom has you covered. Plus you can take a peek through the windows to see our brewery.
"The Backyard" is our large outdoor patio and grassy area with tables and Adirondack chairs. During the year this is where you find the locals with families, dogs and friends hanging out or playing cornhole. Plus we have rotating food trucks Wednesday through Saturday so it is a great place to grab dinner.

Burwood Pilsner reveals a delicious hop bouquet of citrus and herbs that are followed by bright grains and honey. A blast of lemon zest and honeysuckle meets a barrage of bright malty goodness. The final sip delivers a harmonious blend of fragrant hops, bready malt with a rich golden color.

This sessionable Amber has a pleasant maltiness that is complemented by a gentle bitterness that finishes dry. Notes of caramel and roast make for a smooth long finish.
ABV 4.7% IBU 18
Our Mexican-style lager is clean and pale, with high clarity and low bitterness. Made with malted barley and flaked corn that give this refreshing beer light flavors without being overly sweet. Plus, we used a Mexican yeast strain to keep this beer crisp and balanced. Perfect for easy and casual drinking in the sun.
ABV 6.4% IBU 65
Golden copper, medium bodied IPA with a crisp mouthfeel that dominates with citrus peel, pine and luscious tropical fruit flavors and aromas. Finishes firm, clean and hoppy.
ABV 6.6% IBU 32
This classic Hazy IPA is everything you want in a hazy IPA; flavorful and juicy. We used classic New England-style IPA hops, Galaxy, Citra and Mosaic. This blend of hops creates a strong tropical fruit aroma with tastes of juicy mango, pineapple, blueberry and peach. But don’t worry there is no harsh bitterness here, just pure juicy pleasure that goes down so easy you will want another.
ABV 5.5% IBU 31
This black as night offering might look like a stout or porter but this beer has complex aromas and flavors in this “adult chocolate milk” of the beer world. Earthy, roasty aromas yield to flavors of fresh cream, cocoa and vanilla with a balanced zestiness from the hops. The rich breadyness drives on and on with dark fruit characteristics along the way. This medium body black beer embodies a clean, dry finish.
ABV 5.9% IBU 11
This sour ale has a soft wheat body and crisp tartness that makes for a mouth-watering combination. With just the right balance of puckering tart cherries to keep you wanting more.
ABV 6.3% IBU 54
This ALES for ALS beer was named after Davin's Grandfather & his Uncle D. Both were coaches and inspired lots of kids, so it only made sense to use that inspiration to create "Coach's Brew IPA".
This IPA is full of citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit, berry and a little melon, yet it is piney and a little herbal to help round it out. $1.00 from every pint sold helps fund research for the Ales for ALS Foundation.
ABV 5.3% IBU 38
This Pale Ale uses 100% New Zealand hops; Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Riwaka and Wai-iti. You get a little white wine notes from the Nelson Sauvin, crushed lime from Motueka, citrus & tropical fruit from Riwaka and stone fruit from Wai-iti - a potent tiki cocktail of tropical flavors. This beer is light in color but not light in flavor. Might be our new favorite Pale Ale!
ABV 5.6% IBU 39
This hazy IPA has layered notes of mango, passion fruit, strawberries, peaches and a little citrus all coming from the Strata hops. Foggy Goggles is a perfect beer for the slopes or afterwards to help ease the long day of skiing. Come grab a pint in our taproom & we will donate $1 of every beer to the Bluewood Ski Patrol through the end of the year.

A rich, full-bodied winter warmer crafted in the British tradition of holiday beers. This deep mahogany colored brew balances complex fruit flavors with a refreshingly smooth texture, making it a highly drinkable and desirable cold weather companion.

We stopped selling glass growlers but, we fill growlers for off-premise consumption only. If you bring your growler in for a fill, we ask that it is clean as we do not fill dirty growlers. *Quick tip on cleaning: When you’re done using your growler rinse it out with hot water, leave the cap off and let it air dry. Don’t forget to save your cap! To take care of any odors, add baking soda and let it sit. After a bit shake it up, dump it out and rinse till the water comes clean.
You can take a 32oz crowler can of your favorite Burwood beverage to go or we have 6-packs of Pilsner or Hop Locker IPA in 12oz cans! They last longer, are recyclable and are easy to pack in and pack out.
